Mission To collect and distribute accurate public information and encourage citizen participation.
Governing Law Ad hoc committee. This committee was created because a small group of citizens, inspired by page 118 of Community Plan 2001, A Comprehensive Plan for the CIty of Gloucester which lays out a plan for the development of a City Office of Citizen Participation and Public Information, came together to bring this office to life as a volunteer effort.
Composition and Tenure Leadership team composed of three members. Volunteer committee members always welcome.
Time Commitment This committee is currently developing its infrastructure. The time commitment varies upon the needs of the volunteer as well as the needs of the project.
Meeting Schedule and Locations Third Thursdays from 7:00PM to 8:00PM in the City Hall third floor meeting room.
Reporting Frequency/To Whom Six-month reports to city boards, committees, and commissions.
Annual report to Mayor and City Council.
