| Mission | To collect and distribute accurate public information and encourage citizen participation. |
| Governing Law | Ad hoc committee. This committee was created because a small group of citizens, inspired by page 118 of Community Plan 2001, A Comprehensive Plan for the CIty of Gloucester which lays out a plan for the development of a City Office of Citizen Participation and Public Information, came together to bring this office to life as a volunteer effort. |
| Composition and Tenure | Leadership team composed of three members. Volunteer committee members always welcome. |
| Time Commitment | This committee is currently developing its infrastructure. The time commitment varies upon the needs of the volunteer as well as the needs of the project. |
| Meeting Schedule and Locations | Third Thursdays from 7:00PM to 8:00PM in the City Hall third floor meeting room. |

Six-month reports to city boards, committees, and commissions.
Annual report to Mayor and City Council. |
